I have two kids under two and sometimes travel for work, though, so I understand if we can't progress at that rate. I'm pushing for a faster game because there's just so much material to cover.It's max hp at level 1, then HD/2+1 every level after (so d8 -> 5hp/lvl, d6 -> 4hp/lvl, etc.). Sorry I didn't mention this earlier. My meatspace gaming group has used this method for so many years, I didn't even think about using a different way to calculate hps.</blockquote>
