Have you ever heard of Neverwinter Nights? If you have, then I would love if you could lend a hand to my girlfriend and I. Simply put, we want to run the OC and expansion campaigns on NWN, but with a few alternations. The main one? We both use the PrC pack, which is a series of hacks that makes NWN run like 3.5 as appose to 3.0, including new spells and new prestige classes and new bases classes such as the archivist, psion, dread necromancer and others. The standard base classes also get updates such as expanded spell lists for all the caster classes, better cleric domains which are more true to 3.5 and other things which make the game run like 3.5 instead of 3.0.
There however, is another thing we are looking for as well, somebody to host the game for us. Due to circumstances that we have tried to fix ourselves numerous times and failed, neither of us can make a server. So, whoever is interested would have to be the one to host the game and make the server. As for the campaign, we are going to play as evil, and any class is fine though my grilfriend is going as a rogue and I am going as a necromancy inclined cleric, so we could really use an arcane caster(or psionic manifester if you like to be more exotic) and a melee tank type.
This campaign is open to anybody though, so even if you don't end up hosting it we could really use some other party members. Like I said, any class is fine, so long as it's not something like a Paladin which forces you to be good.(Though if you like Paladins the PrC added the Anti-Paladin which makes a good evil substitute.)
Also, just because this is a videogame, dose not mean we will treat it as such. We are looking to capture something somewhat close to 3.5e gameplay in virtual form and while the game rolls for us, we would try and keep RP and other such things as a part of the game.
So, is anybody interested in lending us a hand and hosting this game? Further, is anybody interested as just a player and not a player and game host?
