That was a commercial on Wizards.com for the DDXP, prior to the launch of 4e. It would be odd if they were airing it now.

The only time that I've seen a commercial for D&D was on the Sci Fi Channel when the D&D movie sequel premiered.

I remember some of the television commercials for Magic: The Gathering back in the day... and they pretty damn good. If they were seriously trying to sell D&D on TV, I'd expect something a bit more creative.
