I can't imagine you'd have been allowed to go to classes with the other students, but you might have been granted patronage by some Blackthorn official who saw your potential, and been allowed to use the library at your leisure on the condition that you earn your keep by assisting the caretaker. The details are just my thoughts; work it out however you want, but I'd like to start the story with you already at Blackthorn, if it's all the same to you. [MENTION=211]Phoenix8008[/MENTION] - I like the concept. Try to answer as many questions as you can in youre character write-up: Was the entire island abandoned, or just the church? Why? How long were you there? Who rescued you? Where are you now?Look at the maps and decide where you're coming from, where you're going to, and where you're stranded at.  Remember that it doesn't have to be a city that's already on the map. It takes about three seconds for me to make a dot and label it, depending on which map we put it on.I hope you guys don't think I'm getting too nit-picky.
