Happy to report that, though it took 16 1/2 years, I FINALLY completed my SHACKLED CITY & AGE OF WORMS campaigns. Started with Pathfinder 1st Edition, but ended with 5e. Ran the entire thing across multiple VTTs, beginning with MapTools and ending with Foundry (which was hands down the best of them all). The VTTs turned out really handy for making synopses, with saved chat logs and screenshots. Shackled City was pre-Foundry, and the sequel, AoW, was all Foundry (using Grapejuice's isometric mod). I've compiled them into PDFs, for anyone who likes reading campaigns: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/djrb...ey=3awmxivxjydkl7t19nb37l3ew&st=6fghcgc9&dl=0 I'm going to run an epilogue adventure (RETURN TO THE TOMB OF HORRORS), probably toward the end of the year. I figure that will take... 2-3 sessions. No more than 4...? I'm actually considering using 4E for it (been since around '08 that I played that edition). There is a quasi board-game'esque idea I have for this adventure that I want to try, utilizing Foundry. I'm thinking random maps (leaving one map prompts a random roll), trying to find "keys" to discover the next layer of maps, random treasure rolls, and other board game mechanics. And since 4E, at least to me, has always felt more tactical miniature war-game to me than RPG, it might be perfect. Not sure yet... still mulling it over. After that, I'm excited to check out the new Multiverse VTT (one I backed that looks very promising). Still love Foundry, though, so will likely still use it for other campaigns (all isometric, most likely).
