Message: <blockquote data-quote="CanadienneBacon" data-source="post: 6679610" data-attributes="member: 11146">[ooc]Ilmater?  Que triste, like, literally.[/ooc][section][align=left]http://i57.tinypic.com/zy9095.jpg[/align]The force of the memory bore down on Brue, squeezing her chest and stealing her breath.  Wheezing in pain, the genasi trudged to the ledge so she could rest.  A host of half-forgotten images of reliquary loped through Brue's mind on repeat: a bloody torture rack, a bent and broken man, a woman healed of leprosy, a blind child given back his sight.  When she gained the ledge, Brue knelt in prayer.  She prayed for healing, for memory, for an end to Mosstone's suffering.  "Heal me, O Lord.  Heal them all, they cry out in their misery."  Brue whispered in prayer for a long minute, then stood up.  It hurt to remember, but it was good, too.  She stayed on the ledge, reasoning through what she'd encountered down here in the reservoir.  The tentacle thing, I don't know that that thing is the cause of the plague.  Probably just some horror of the dark looking to feed, and I happened by.  I'd have to have its body to know more, and I'm not fit enough at the moment to fight it off a second time.  Best to go rest a bit, hope Ilmater favors me with healing, and try the other direction.  Not too long a rest, though.  Greycastle needs word soon.[/section][ooc]So time is of the essence.  Originally, I'd planned on Brue being down here for something like half a day.  Does the reservoir seem large?  How long does Brue think it'll take her to finish checking it out?  Her plan for right now is to walk from her present position, heading east (since heading West proved a near catastrophe!).  I'll roll for healing later tonight when I get home, or you can roll now if you like.  I don't have my book with me and need to look up the Life domain.  If you decide to roll (and feel free to do that), please select something that looks like it would put Brue's hp back at around 20 or more.[/ooc]</blockquote>
