Just weird. Session 001: Died in their Sleep. Mission Time: 00:00 to 00:07. But first a brief word from our sponsor, or else the DM, we're doing this for kicks- playing this scenario, and because as we went on the players started to like it. I'm building the next bit of our WFRP game, and then on to the next bit of our main campaign. But for now, and for a variety of other reasons, this is what we're doing. Also, there's not going to be a lot of text in this, just the tomfoolery and pictures. There's not going to be anything much in the way of dialogue- he said this, they said that... not really, it's going to be- this happened, and now everyone is very sorry and it won't happen again. That kind of thing. So, if it helps here's a brief word about the PCs. DCI Bawg is the unelected leader of this pack, or else he's played by Jim who seems to know what he's doing- and he goes first, he's the stealthy rogue, and so the others tend to follow. Bawg sounds like he's from the Big Easy/NOLA, he's a cigar smoking gumshoe, with a hand-cannon and a drawl. Phreakalus is... weird, he flies around on his winged boots- constantly tinkering with his myriad devices while chivvying his son/animated puppet Piniccarus. His voice is educated and smooth, and at all times he is thoughtful and courteous, although with his slightly camp Mediterranean accent, and his love of his son, he is... just weird, hard to take at times. Thugg is a lumbering idiot half-orc, but beloved of Bradlust- the god of Battle (or so he says), he is wordy- as in he tends to speak a lot, everything he says is bordering on the dumb and/or obvious, and yet he delivers his speeches as if he were an expert, handing out pearls to swine. Thugg sings at his comrades- his war song. He also shouts a lot when it gets to combat, thankfully Bear still hasn't fixed his microphone and so when he starts booming it (very thankfully) cuts out. Yen is the smallest of halflings, and a constant blur of activity, between statue like moments of reflection- he can hold a pose for... well, ever. He says little save yes or no, peppered every so often with fortune cookie like homilies. By about the third session of this one all the other players have developed a great fondness for monks, it seems by 11th level they are (if Yen is anything to go by) kick ass.
