Well, what you see is pretty much all of them.</strong></p><p></p><p>Grutha, the chief's wife, is a mighty big bag of hit points, but then again I could say the same of Sgt. Dibl maybe a turn or so ago.</p><p></p><p>The giant killers, sorry- Giant Killers, are killing giants. Keep in mind he started out a Max HP cloud giant.</p><p></p><p>But then...</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431389[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>DCI Bawg orders the artillery to take the great hall, and in the process- payback any injuries suffered at the hands of Grutha. You'll note the late to the party ogre boss just arriving (in the bottom right corner) this was another one of the fellers sent out by Nosnra to rouse the guards.</strong></p><p></p><p>What guards- they dead.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431390[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>DCI Bawg blows the cloud giant's head off. He took ten turns to get to the fight (he went back to his room to get his magical two-handed sword, Waythe) and lasted three further turns, and keep in mind in the first turn he just made a speech (he had just double-moved to get to the fight) and was then ignored by the PCs et al.</strong></p><p></p><p>And Grutha and her bear are not long for this world either...</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431391[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>Just the one ogre left here, and the orc army has been given free reign. Dibl & Grutha (both Hill Giants with Max HP), Sub-Chief Grok (as Stone Giant with Max HP), Nimbus the Cloud Giant (Max HP) & Chief Nosnra (as Frost Giant with Max HP)</p><p></p><p>That's 37 Monsters, 35800 XP and a CR 29 Encounter.</p><p></p><p>We go on...</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431394[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>It's party time (but no bingo), imagine- if you will, all of the orc slaves have been freed and are at present enjoying the rest of the feast. Thugg orders the army to drink and be merry, and with pillaging for afters.</strong></p><p></p><p>Its is happy fun time for the orcs/slaves.</p><p></p><p>But not for Chief Nosnra...</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431395[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>So, the big hill giant chief is healed back to consciousness, and then subjected to the Phreakalus mind reading effect, I don't know what spell it is (mind reading?) but he can read surface thoughts but delving deep and I (Nosnra) get a save.</strong></p><p></p><p>Here's the thing, and when we get to it, Nosnra got his save and he rolled a '20', so there's that.</p><p></p><p>Basically for ten or so minutes DCI Bawg chats (in Giantish) and tries to lead Nosnra's thoughts to reveal the following pieces of info-</p><p></p><p>1) Who's your boss? Who's behind the giant attacks?</p><p>2) Where the money at? Where's Nosnra's loot to be found?</p><p></p><p>But, I rolled a '20', or else Nosnra did, and so...</p><p></p><p>In answer to question #1 Phreakalus perceives this-</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431396[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>A trophy wall, and in the image Phreakalus is convinced that there's another giant sitting off-screen left. But that's all he gets by way of an answer to question #1.</strong></p><p></p><p>As to question #2- where's the loot at, Phreakalus briefly sees (through Nosnra's eyes) a long plain (giant-sized) stone passage heading from the east to the west, there's a corner ahead- the passage turns to the north. That's it.</p><p></p><p>Except to say a little later he manages to work out that the passage he saw was underground (from the brickwork) and he has the feeling that Nosnra- at the start of his vision- had just descended a set of stairs.</p><p></p><p>So, the treasure is somewhere below.</p><p></p><p>That done.</p><p></p><p>[ATTACH=full]431397[/ATTACH]</p><p><strong>Thugg executes Chief Nosnra, he beheads the hill giant chief.
