That has (mostly) changed. But during that time, it must have looked absolutely bleak. Somehow we keep on going. Some things get better, others don't. But when I keep in mind that my country used to have a system of legalized slavery, and now it doesn't, that gives me at least a glimmer of hope for the future.</blockquote>
