Lloth stole Zinezerina's identity (Drow Goddess of murder,  chaos, assassins ambushes,  and humiliation) in FR. Shar stolen Ibrundel's identity in FR (he was human God of the Underdark,  and I think the Sundering raised him from the dead),  Isis assumed Ishtar's identity when Ishtar left,  a bit with Ishtar's permission,  and with an incarnated mortal form of Ishtar as a gift to Isis,  there are other examples of divine identity theft.</blockquote>
