D&D Comic #3 on sale!

Any idea if they are continuing the "module" versions that they did for issues #1 and #2?

I don't know. This one does have Varis' (the elf ranger) sheet. He hates trees and prefers urban environments, seeing them as an extension of nature.

According to Denton Tipton (the editor), Dark Sun #1 was the last issue to have a "module" version for the foreseeable future.

Hmmm ... Did Tipton state the reasons why?

One could suspect the "module" versions not selling very well, which led to such a decision.

He didn't say. But those who like the module versions should write to the comic saying so.

Cool beans. I went looking for issue 3 last week but ended up getting the Dark Sun one because that was all they had. Now I know why.

Just got #3 in today, and Dark Sun #1. Enjoying both series so far.

I'm also enjoying both series a lot and can't wait the next issue. I usually but the trade compilations but decided I couldn't wait. And who knows if or when they will put one out?

This is what I normally did too previously. For example in the recent past, I picked up some of the Forgotten Realms mini-series comics by Devil's Due in the trade compilations omnibus books format.

With the recent IDW D&D and Dark Sun series, I found them entertaining enough to want to buy them every month, instead of waiting for the omnibus compilations.
