Agreed Androlphas, and its a breath of fresh air to see someone post something positive about 4e, and in a humorous way. Kudos to you sir! I was wary of 4e too. I had gotten really burned out on 3e, and had moved on to other systems completely about 4 years ago. When the preview books came out late last year, I figured I'd pick them up and see what was going on, but not expecting anything. Races and Classes was ok, but the Worlds and Monsters book blew me away! I had to know more! As the months passed and I learned more, I started getting excited about D&D again- much more excited than I did when 3e came out in 2000. When KotS came out, I bought it immediately and my group played it- and we fell in love with 4e (and I'm an entrenched simulationist DM). It strongly reminds me of the red box D&D and AD&D 1e- and I LOVE it! We haven't looked back since. So 4e, I'm happy to reaffirm my vows and say I'm back too! (Prediction: 10 posts until first threadcrap by one of the "usual suspects") :erm:
