It is just different art for the marilith. They are not saying all mariliths look like this or that mariliths have always looked like this. Early in this thread I posted images from mariliths from each edition. They have changed with every edition, were each of those retcons too?!I certainly hope they don't listen to you as I hope they continue to review and change things in an attempt to make them better.** I realize this is subjective and I don't expect anyone to succeed all the time. I appreciate the effort if it is truthfully done with the thought of making an improvement.  Whether or not I agree that it is an improvement.</blockquote>
