Just a note to those who are unaware of my site: http://www.3rdedition.org/merricb/mini.htm I've recently (as of yesterday) started posting strategy articles by various people about the D&D Miniatures game; the ones I have at the moment review various figures for their uses in the Skirmish and RPG games, although I think the RPG side is a little light. I think that the Spoiler pdf files on my site are now 100% accurate, although every so often something has to be fixed. I must really get around to getting a Dragoneye spoiler list in html format, along with fixing the Harbinger html list. So many things to do, so little time! :) I'm rather looking forward to the new year, hopefully with more spoilers to come on Archfiends, Giants of Legend and whatever lies beyond that. One of the things I find interesting about the D&D Miniatures game is the different modes it can be played in: Skirmish, Mass Combat, Role-playing Aid, and Board Game. That latter refers primarily to the Random Dungeon aspect (described in the MHb), and I don't think has been explored enough at present. I think creating a few scenarios, maps and other things to allow people to play the game as a quick boardgame when not everyone turns up for a D&D session would be a good idea. I must turn my mind to such matters. If anyone out there has any ideas, I'd be happy to hear them: post them in this thread! The silliest thing about the whole business is that I don't use miniatures in my RPG sessions! I've even designed session recently based on the miniatures I have... but I still don't use them. Oh well. Cheers!
