Was fun, but not enough to play another one.I made a quite a few humans, mainly when the concept didn't call for anything exotic.There was a half-elf and a few full elves, because it's a natural choice when you play an arcane spellcaster. I'm kind of unhappy with my last elf though, I think a different race would have been more interesting. Elves in D&D aren't that different from pointy-eared humans, compared to other fantasy sources.That's really the key here: I want each of my characters to feel different from the ones before. But when you've been playing for a while, there are only so many "classic" archetypes left that you still want to try. That's why I'm happy about choice and variety. Trying out a new race is an easy way to make a character that's different from the ones you already played.</blockquote>
