D&D Reality TV

How about a reality TV show where different contestents play characters, and the last one living wins the prize? :D

Maybe have funny sequences where they show actors in fantasy gear doing the player's moves, fighting monsters, rearranging the battle line, and getting killed? It'll be a gas!

Something in my mind says it'll never happen, but they ARE getting desperate.

It'd be great if they run 'em through the Tomb of Horrors or some other such deathtrap. I hate the stupid poseurs that show up on reality shows, but seeing them go through the Tomb would amuse me.

Of course you'd then get one contestent who has played through the Tomb and knows where everything is. "Whoa! Don't step there. Fatal poison." "Don't touch that. Sphere of Annihilation." "Alright, did any of you pull the magic-user stat sheet? No? OK, how about a paladin? Good. Do you have a +5 holy sword? No? Any thieves? Good. When we meet Acerack, there will be many, many big gems on the ground. [Vizzini] When you see his head, HIT IT WITH THE GEMS! [/Vizzini]"

Stupid players always messing up our DM fun. :p

And exactly what is this reality show going to be titled?
  • Survivor: the GenCon Experience
[*]I'm a Roleplayer! Get Me Out of Here!
    [*]The Brain Mole
    [*]Joe Emperor
[*]Big Brothers Special Edition: Living in Undermountain
    [*]Meet My Flumphs

I think the best title would be "When Gamers Attack!"
It would only sell to the networks if it involved sex or celebrities, though.

Demiurge out.
