The third in EN World's exclusive Artifacts of Lore series introduces the Spear of Destiny!
The Spear of Destiny, also known as the Holy Spear or the Lance of Longinus, was used to pierce the side of Jesus while he hung on the cross. When Jesus' side was pierced, he bled blood and water. The relic has phenomenal talismanic power – indeed, legend has it that its owner would gain the power to conquer the world, and so it has been sought after by many despots. Throughout history, the possessor of the Spear – from Charlemagne to Constantine to Napoleon to Hitler - has always become a great power in the world; and great misfortune has always followed losing the Spear.
The Spear is entwined with man's destiny and his ascendency over the gods; a powerful occult relic, it seeks to oppose immortals at all times and increase the power of mortals.
