Uhh, Monte et al would have to borrow way more than they would be allowed to for that. D&D is movies, TV shows, computer games, maybe cartoons again, books, novels, cheesy board game adaptions, bedsheets, t-shirts, and probably a breakfast cereal at some point. IF Hasbro ever sold WotC or D&D I see a smart company hiring some of these folks to work on the game (name alone would help sell it) and if they did good work then it would sell even better. I think Monte is one of the highest paid in the busines at the level we dream of gaming benig owned, and I don;t know him personally, or how much he makes, but I bet the millions required to buy D&D would be a little more rope than Monte coul pull together. I DO NOT know what Monte makes for sure. I've heard rumors from other publishers and in chats and such. Even if Monte is one of the top dogs actually breaking a six figure income, there's no way he could put up the collateral to get the millions needed. Sorry to break your bubble, D&D is now a corporate entity. Just do your best to support the guys you DO like and maybe some suit will wake up and get that team together again. It worked well once... The Happy Bard -- not proofread, enjoy my raw undiluted typonese!
