This includes a 1e-2e mishmash, 4e, and 5e.I also feel it is useful for a 20 to mean a superhuman. D&D is a fantasy game. In fantasy, superhuman Strength is a central archetype, as are other ways to be superhuman. In 5e, to assign a score of 20 is how to do this archetype within the game engine.I dont want to see the superheroic 20 be a default standard at level 1. But it is an important character concept. It should be available as a variant, when appropriate to a setting.</blockquote>
