Really weird that being "physically fit" comes at a 12. A gifted intellectual who will fail 50% of the time at medium difficulty questions within their own field of study. Love how doctors have a 50% fail rate in the world of DnD Unless they happen to be adventurers. because the VAST number of adventurers have a 16. I will also note that your average, non-exceptional orc has a strength of 16, as do most war veterans. And your typical Bandit captain has a dex of 16, your average noble or spy has a Charisma of 16, and your average priest a wisdom of 16. Your average mage as an intelligence of 17. That is a lot of different groups of people who would have a 16 for something to declare it so rare most people don't come across them. Every standard Gladiator has a strength of 18. A clasp Enforcer (basically a mob enforcer) has a Con of 18. They are just a mob boss's goon, they also have a strength of 16. An Inquistor of the Tome has an int of 19, while your standard diviner or abjurer wizard is sporting an 18 Int. Their are goblin slaves of Fey or GOO patrons, who like their Warlock counterparts have an 18 Charisma. In fact, literally any standard warlock I can find is an 18 Cha, as is that bog standard warlord I discussed below. Yeah, like a completely human Warlord with no superpowers. Or your standard archmage. Or, how about these cosmically powered superheroes with 20 dex: Pixie, Space Hamster, Faerie Dragon, your average non-special Air Elemental. But, let's look at ACTUALY mythical beings with access to cosmic powers. Pit Fiend: 24/14/24/22/18/24 Sapphire Great Wyrm: 28/14/29/30/24/25 Solar: 26/22/26/25/25/30 Storm Giant Tempest Caller: 29/14/20/21/18/25 Greater Star Spawn Emissary: 24/13/26/27/22/25 I think your definition of a score of 20 being the realms of mythical beings with cosmic forces is... utterly flawed. Actual mythical, cosmic beings of renown are generally sporting 24's or HIGHER in their major stats.
