I wasn't aware that most pitchers threw fouls 70% of the time. No wonder baseball takes so long. What if it is a solo game? I've been playing a lot of Solo games recently via PbP, would that array be a problem then? Or is it only a problem if I'm better at everything than my fellow players, which I won't be and it is nearly impossible to actually be. How about we measure success by succeeding? Essay writing is highly subjective, because it is art. Let's take something else, land vehicles would cover cars. Looking around I found that a DC 15 check for land vehicles can be making a sharp turn. So, do you believe that the average driver fails and crashes 70% of the time when they make a sharp turn? See, this is amusing to me. Because your bigger argument is that this is unbalanced because of other characters.... but it cannot be unbalanced in the mechanical game design. Because while incredibly unlikely, a final score with a +3 and five +2's is possible with rolling the dice. And we have already had it stated by multiple posters that any possible combination of numbers from rolling stats is mechanically balanced. Because the game is designed for any possible check, attack, or skill to be done by people with a +4 or +5 in their ability scores, so how could a +2 be unbalanced? So the real problem here is that if I am the only one with good, decent scores, then I'm overshadowing. But what if, hypothetically, everyone had only +3's and a +2's? How could it be unbalanced then?
