Dungeons and Dragons cartographer and illustrator Mike Schley has been schedule for an hour long signing on Friday from 1 PM to 2 PM as part of WotC's D&D Experience at Gen Con Indy. Make sure you come by the D&D Activities Room (138) to say hello and get your book or game signed. Limited edition prints, such as the new map of Menzoberranzan and board artwork for Lords of Waterdeep, will also be available for purchase during the signing or at his booth in Artist's Alley.

Enjoying fifteen years of experience as a professional artist and designer, Mike has produced a large body of work for a variety of clients ranging from publishing firms to public universities. Currently his focus has been on pushing the boundaries of fantasy cartography and illustration with book and game publishers such as Wizards of the Coast and Scholastic. A few of the various RPG projects he's worked on recently include D&D's Heroes of the Feywild, the Lair Assault adventures Attack of the Tyrantclaw and Talon of Umberlee as well as a multitude of Forgotten Realms regional cartography. With a background rooted in traditional media, Mike strives to convey a naturalistic visual style reminiscent of the golden age of book illustration while benefiting from the speed and flexibility of working in a digital format.

Love Mike's work. His map of Vaasa is inspirational stuff. If I ever have a product in need of cartography, and the funds are available, he would get the call!
