--- THE EDGE OF THE BAINLUNDER HILLS --- The Stonepike mountains loom over the landscape. Their slopes are heavily forested. From the map Ashin showed you and what he told you, Duvik lies a good two days ride into them. The Duvik path winds its way up a steep sided valley for most of the way, and is really little more than a mule path. It is too narrow and steep for wagons of any sort. Judging by what Mikal said, the path to Duviik shouldn't be too far down the valley that lies ahead. With a little luck, the remaining half dozen hours of daylight should be enough see the party find the path and well into the mountains. [sblock=ooc]Yes, apologies. My access has been irregualr and will probably remain so for a bit. I posted inthe TtT forum and ment to link to it in all my game threads but, again, had to dash before I had the chance. I think there is still some confusion as to locations. Ahead of the party there is a shallow valley which leads down to the Duvik path. The terrain becomes gradually more forested. The Duvik path then heads up into the mountains. Duvik is probably still a couple of days away. Kinthriver now lies about days fast ride back along the path in the other direction. So, Forest terrain up ahead. Possibly some soldiers lurking around. Any changes to marching order? Are you scouting ahead?[/sblock]
