ao'Thuir, Ridik, Rinya, Gardner The Wood Elf's intimidation catches the Halfling off-guard and convinces her to keep her ears to herself. Gardner and Rinya [sblock] The Gnomes are prattling on about a myriad of topics, among them, the words of a street Philosopher, the latest fashion of Orussus and about the latest prank they pulled on some Half-Orc adventurer new to town. The speed of their topic changes is enough to make any non-gnome a little dizzy.[/sblock] The four exit the Green Sailor, returning to the hustle and bustle of the docks area. Precise questioning on Gardner's part once again saves them an hour of getting lost in the vast metropolitan district. When they see the Fine Time Hotel, it is in a seedy section of the eastern area. It is garishly painted with gaudy pictures of nymphs and mermaids. Those who are used to such places easy recognize the type of hotel* that the Fine Time actually is. Fate conspires with her own counsel, so none can truly say if it by the party's good or the gentleman's ill that a Man matching Slim's weasely, cheap countenance exits the building in front of them, having recently used the Fine Time's wares (obvious by his rumpled garb) He has yet to notice the party for who they truly are, but their appearance does provoke him into a sudden wariness. He turns swiftly to avoid intercepting the party, keeping a normal pace and lowering his eyes. No one could be more obvious. *A brothel, of course Richard and Lucien Not too surprisingly, it is Ignatious that cooks some hearty fare for Richard and Lucien. The bread, cheese and eggs provided are enough to fill the doughty defenders of the Meijer household. Ignatious' brother (and business partner) is out on errands. Ignatious and his wife inform their sentinels that they too are to leave the house for a while, to make arrangements regarding the carriage and the supplies. This of course leaves Richard and Lucien with the children, who view them with a conflicting mix of burning curiousity and healthy fear.
