Amazon seems to be VERY slow on some gaming books lately. The new World of Darkness book says 1-3 months and it does say 1-2 months for Mesopotamia. Of course, Beyond Countless Doorways doesn't come out in hardcover until October 30th, so it's no surprise you can't get it for a month or so *grin*. Does Acrobat 6 not run on older Macs? Also if you go here: http://secure1.white-wolf.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=45&sort=2a&page=2&osCsid=d6d6c72145c9a9fa50e606983dc39834 you can get the regular pdf not the secure one. For Grimoire 2 Monte had mentioned that Drivethru sold the secure and WW sold the regular pdf at their website. I assume it is the same for all other pdfs of his as well. So there's $13 bucks and you won't feel like you're being considered a pirate. Edit:Ahh 10.2.4 or higher for Adobe 6 w/DRM. Also this link http://www.drivethrurpg.com/catalog/ForumResponse.htm has some of their responses to common misconceptions about the pdfs they sell. Really it seems fairly reasonable to me. It's not so much a case of automatically assuming their paying customers are pirates, but just an extra precaution for the publishers to make sure that it is those who are actually paying for the service who receive the benefits. disclaimer:I'm generally against forced DRM like those being discussed for Longhorn (Windows 2006), but in this case you DO have the option of buying a "real" copy of the book instead...just maybe have to wait a bit longer and then pay a bit more.
