It might have been me. I did a rough conversion in some notes at home. This is kind of what I came up with..All of this is IMHO. Some of DC can be run rules lite and just using the D20 modern book. I preordered the Urban Arcana book at home. I think it would have more pisonics rules and abilities which would be good. I think DC as a D20 Modern setting, would be a blend between Agents of Psi and the Genetech in Polyhedron. For the abilites just use the closest ones in the D20 modern book and do a lose conversion of the creatures from the DC book into the ones in the Monster Manual and the D20 Modern book. Some creatures use the plain stats like wolves or orges. Then, like for dark elves just make them coal skinned psychopaths with some psi abilites and dimension walking devices ie psionic artifacts from the Psionics handbook of some sort. On the d20 modern mailing list someone did a good conversion of the Greys. Other creatures from the d20 modern book make good additions to the DC world like oozes which you can say are from toxic pollution. The Ravenloft D20 monster book has a few good ones that are close match to creatures in the DC book as well. For the careers just use the closet ones from the D20 Modern Book. Some of my proposed players didn't like the though of a leveled DC game so I haven't playtested any of this. One of the problems I ran into was dimension walking. It fits closely to the dimension walking ability in the 1st ed PHB. But that would make it a 9th level Psion power, so I wasnt sure of how to use it as a spell-like ability. Some one on these boards said just use Dimension Door. But I didnt think that fit the DC ability correctly. Another problem is dealing with incorporeal creatures in a DC universe without magic weapons. I guess the only way would be to have them affected by psionics which would make incorporeal creatures pretty deadly. For equipment just go with what makes sense. There's basic lasers in some d20 books too for the backpack laser guns in DC. Mike
