We are looking for feedbak on material from two separate works, both of which will be ready for testing in a couple weeks: 1) The Personality Primer. This is a book-length rule supplement designed to help players flesh out their characters in extra detail. The central feature of this work is a system for random generation of special abilities and problems unique to each individual character. We currently have over a thousand total personal quirks available in the work. These range from innate personal advantages in various game mechanics to specific physical and psychological characteristics. The end result is a means of giving each individual character a unique set of abilities and problems, all his own. 2) Sundry Supplements and Additional Oddities. This is a grab-bag of miscellaneous feats, skills, character classes, magic items, spells and other standard rpg fare. The work also includes an extensive list of distinct illnesses, injuries, and bad omens with which add a little flavor to a campaign. If there is a common theme to this work it is an effort to bring a number of real-world misfortunes into the realm of fantasy gaming, and to use these to add new elements of mystery and suspicion to the lives your characters. We also have a variety of individual monsters that could each use a little testing.It will be about the second week of August before we can put these out, but we are looking to assemble a pool of testers now.
