D20 Future Galaxy

I'm currently in the planning stage of a D20 future campaign that will start on Earth and eventually take the PCs to the stars. Has anyone done the legwork of creating a star map (star chart) including distances and direction of the various nearby solar systems? So if say the party travels to Alpha Centuari (4.4 ly) and descovers it's only inhabitable planet to be completely wiped out, it wouldn't take much effort to figure out the distance to the next system and so on. I want time and distance to be relevant, at least at first.

Traveller 2300 has maps like that. Its available at the ENGS here http://enworld.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=390&it=1 and an updated version, Traveller 2320 is also available but I've not read it.
