First off, I didn't think I'd get this much feedback, so cool. Second goes to the Mods - if we are way off topic, let me know. I'll stop answering questions in this thread and start up a new one. Thanks. On to the questions then: Salcor, thanks. I will definately be looking into that book - well, at least the SRD of it (in regards to the Power Armor). If that interests me, I'll gladly pick the book up and see what develops from there. As for the D20 Modern Adventure Path, glad you like the sound of it - and just wait til I can actually disclose more of what it is. However, I can tell you that there has been a long, and still on-going, research group that is feeding myself and the other designers "real" information as we go. I use the word real in " " only because the Adventure Path deals a lot with conspiracies, thus real is a relative term. The conspiracies we research exist, we just happen to thread them together in a fairly interesting weave, I think. Olive, glad I was able to help you grasp my situation. Also, I think that is an excellent example of the Gadget rules and have always agreed with you that it is a very flexible and worthwhile idea. D20 Future, in my opinion, is a great tool kit. I'm still glad I bought it at full price. I just hope the Gadget system hits the SRD. The Black Kestrel - thanks for the link. It will make my searching the web tons easier. Also, I'll be around the fifth or sixth offering Variant Power Armor rules actually. If I remember correctly, I've read that Mr. Rice and Warlord Ralts will be putting out Power Armor rules shortly after the D20 Future SRD hits the net. Finally, to actually answer your question: Mine has been planned, from the very beginning, to work with D20 Modern with no changes made to your basic game. My goal was, and still is, if you have to change a rule for D20 Modern to make the Power Armor Tool Kit to work, then the PA Tool Kit needs to be redesigned. That being said, since the release of the D20 Future book, my Power Armor Tool Kit is currently being redesigned, so that while its still very much a "drop-in" supplement to any D20 Modern/Future game, it still allows a DM to run Mecha and the Gadget System in his game along with the PA Tool Kit. The only change I see is that Large Mecha might become "pointless" (if only cause I'll be covering Power Armor no bigger than large-sized), though the remaining Mecha shouldn't be affected (so far, they're not). Additionally, we might be able to provide additional conversions as a free web enhancement for whatever reasons. Still looking into this. Finally, I'm looking at assigning a price tag of $5 for this product, which weighs in around 60 pages in rough form. I would expect that the page count will increase once the "fluffing" and example suits of Power Armor have been completed. One more thing needs to be said and that's this: As the various Power Armor rules comes out, I will be taking a look at each and every one. While I hadn't yet got to look at the GoO's book (friend of mine told me it wouldn't work, and unfortunately, I merely took his word. Sorry guys.), I plan on fixing that mistake today. If I find a rules set that does what I need it too, work on my Power Armor Tool Kit will cease. As I've said before, this is more of a hobby of mine than a job. Of course, that doesn't mean I'll do half-assed jobs. I'm quite the snotty brat when it comes it game mechanics/products - I like mine to "look and feel" just so. :\ :heh: :p :] Still, thanks for all your time and interest, Peterson
