[QUOTE="Mirth, post: 979027, member: 5242"] After adjoining to the other room to see to the injured dwarf's care once again, Radagast turns to Balin, [khazdul]"Come saviour of Erebor, let us return to the table. I remember you, son of Fundin, and if your brother here is to be avenged, then there is much we must discuss first. As you will see shortly, my purpose will become quite clear, although you may not wish to hear of it."[khazdul] During Elrond's admonishment, the brown mage lowers his head. When he is done, the Wizard raises his head once more, staring directly into the half-elven's eyes, [quenya]"Your dissatisfaction has its merit, Lord of Imladris. I am here in part to make amends for my solitary ways. You of all people should know that the past is the past, however. As you have said, let us look forward, shall we? In time, I hope our alliance shall mend itself."[/quenya] With that, Radagast turns to the rest, [westron]"I recently had the good fortune of crossing paths with the Grey Wanderer. What he had to tell me was not fortuitous, however. He pressed upon me the need to bring this information to Elrond's attention, hence my sudden appearance here at Rivendell."[/westron] The grey-bearded old man begins to pace as he relays Gandalf's warning, [/westron]"It seems that the hill-folk are on the move, making their way northwest, no doubt soon to cross the Glanduin. The rooks fill the air above them." [/westron] Radagast stops his pacing a draws out his pipe from his robes, as he tamps some weed into the bowl of it, he continues, [westron]"To add to that message of distress, two days ago I myself came upon the bodies of a half-dozen slaughtered orcs just the off the Great East Road. The rooks were there as well and upon talking to them, I found out that goblins from the north had done the killing.
