Okay, the first thing to know is while the FX powers have changed the face of the world they are very rare. To get them the system has them as advanced classes, and I like that. So, I'd guess that one out of a million has these abilities. Religion: Some highly religios people have powers from God. So, this type of ability has been excepted by the Church. People who show these abilities are welcomed into the church and are basically living Saints. Their powers are treated as miracles. However, people with power not from God are treated with disdain and prejudice. Because of the abilities people have seen, more people believe in God and are churchgoers. Capitilists: Some people have tried to use their powers for monatary gains. There are mages who cater only to the millionaires and other powerful persons. These people are not publicly known for the most part. Myths and Views: Most people realize that FX powers exist, but many people can go through life without experincing or seeing any of it. The Media has painted FX powers in a bad light so most people resent it if not hate it. Snake Oil and other Cons: Yes, these people exist and make a living off of it. FXers mostly hate these people as it gives FXers a bad name. Media is always proving peaople as fakes and uses it to fuel the fires of the anti FX people. Part of the PIA mission will be to deal with these Cons. Where does the Power Come from: No one knows. There has been all sorts of studies and theories but nothing proven in the halls of achedamia. Entertainment: So far no one has successfully made a long term living off of magical entertainments. FX abilities are not that well accepted by the general public enough for this. Sports: All FX abilities are banned from all sports.
