As the readers of MODERNIZED might already know, Advanced Classes for Ordinaries is a concept I started in our first issue and continued by Jason Tondo in our second issue. Basically, they are advanced classes representing relatively mundane areas of specialization, meant to be given to non-player characters. What I want to do is this: get a great big book of Advanced Classes for Ordinaries together, put them into PDF form, release it for sale on RPGNow, and donate all the proceeds to charity. Why? Because, primarily, there's never a good reason NOT to give to charity. Also, I would really like to see a book of Advanced Classes for Ordinaries. What I'm looking for: first, Jason Tondo, I need you to get ahold of me. I've lost all my contact information from MODERNIZED ever since my PC died, and I'd like to get your good graces to use the Guard and the Inmate in this endeavor. Second, this book is going to take a sizable amount of content. I enjoy writing, but I don't think I can fill this book alone. Plus, I'd really like to see the kind of creative content that other minds can think up. So, I will need more Advanced Classes for Ordinaries from other authors. All submissions will be credited to their respective authors and remain their copyrights. All Advanced Classes for Ordinaries will become Open Gaming Content. As this is a charity project, I can't pay anybody; I'm appealing here to the talented and generous among this community (I know there are many). Art would be nice, but I'm not expecting any. If anyone would like to submit classes or art, get ahold of me at my personal e-mail address, david s gallant at yahoo dot ca (no spaces). Third, the charity I have in mind for this project is the Multiple Sclerosis Society, or MS Society. The MS Society benefits a cause that affects us personally. I haven't contacted them about this yet... I'd like to do that when we have a complete book. So, all interested in this endeavour, get ahold of me, please! Help us create the book of Advanced Classes for Ordinaries: the biggest book of classes you never needed.
