I've just started up a new campaign using the d20 Modern system, with Call of Cthulu d20's Sanity rule system.
The Setting: Autumn 2012, recent reports have just come in about a strange signal being detected from a far off star. It's unlike anything anyone has ever seen and scientists wonder if it's extra-terrestrial life.
The story started with two characters flying from Cincinnati to London to investigate a mysterious letter they received, along with a family heirloom sent by a stranger whom one of your distant relatives in London seems to know. Along the way some very strange figures attempted to crash the plane killing all in a fiery explosion. Luckily the two emerging heroes thwarted the plan of what appeared to be two crazed cultists. There's something sinister going on behind the scenes and once you peel back the skin to see the ugly truth, there's no guarantee you'll ever be the same again.

Rulebook: Primarily d20 Modern, however the sanity rules are from Call of Cthulu d20
We play online currently with AIM chat, but we're transitioning to Map Tools once the bugs are worked out with one of the players
