Aiden jumps out of his chair, and heads towards the door with the rest of you. He gives a fearful look up at the vent, still spewing a thin amount of smoke. The five of you spill out into the corridor, Andrew still coughing slightly. The office corridor stretches off to your left and right. Offices can be seen in both directions. The left corridor ends in a window that overlooks Westwood - 12 stories up. The right corridor goes directly to the front office where you originally sat, waiting for your appointment. In the distance, you can hear the typing of computers, someone talking on the phone - the usual sounds of a business office (OOC: Coming from down the other corridor, probably). There is no visible sign of smoke in the hall that you can see. Down the hall, the front door opens. You would expect it to make a slamming sound as it almost rebounds against the wall, but it is silent. Even the girl from the lobby running towards your group, her eyes wide in fear and her mouth open in a soundless shriek - is completely silent. You see movement behind her, and suddenly something literally rips open her shoulder, blood flying everywhere! She tumbles to the ground, her fall seemingly done in slow motion. Her white UCLA sweater is shredded on her right side and already soaked in blood. All of this - as silent as the grave. As she falls before your startled eyes, you see a thing standing behind her in the waiting room. He is tall, perhaps 6' - but thin with long gangly arms. His face can only be described as vaguely human-like. The skin is pale white, although splotches of light green cover parts of the forehead and the neck. Black stringy hair crowns a face twisted in glee and hatred. He is wearing black clothing that doesn't hide the fact his body is emaciated and slightly hunched. A belt holds a firearm in a holster and a couple of sheathed hunting knives. In his hands you can see a shotgun, pointed at the back of the girl. Whatever he is shrieking, it appears to be a cry of triumph - but it is silent as well. OOC: Well Tori - you've found the UCLA girl. :( Here's a rough map of the surroundings (no laughing at my poor art skills!) Actions, please?
