With surprising speed none of you thought the beautiful woman had, Tori drops to one knee and reaches inside her jacket - pulling out a black metal pistol. As she raises the gun, she expertly thumbs the safety off and squeezes the trigger at the same time. BOOM! The weapon makes a surprisingly loud noise in the tight hallway - it is the first loud noise you've heard despite the horror you witnessed down the hall. You hear workers in the main part of the office cry out in shock ("What the hell was that??" shouts one person). The bullet hits the creature solidly in the chest, and you see it stagger back a step. The look on its face transforms from glee to one of pain and rage. Blackish blood blossoms around the wound, though it is difficult to tell how hurt it truly is. Tori, you notice that the creature doesn't look particularly surprised by the sight of opposition. He begins to raise the shotgun to unload on your group. Despite the range, the weapon is still deadly. But faster than he can do that, Whisper is already in motion. He crosses the distance to where the foe stands and explodes into action. Diving forward with the skill of an acrobat, he hand-plants and brings his foot impossibly over his head. His foot smacks into the creature's hand just as the shotgun is level with Whisper's chest. The shotgun slams into the ground and bounces away - all without a sound. Whisper then kips up from his position, landing on his feet. He moves with a grace and fluidity you wouldn't expect from someone who slouched so much in the meeting. But his stance shows he's a practiced and skilled hand-to-hand fighter. OOC: A non-critical 20 on the disarm, Velenne! And it's not exactly easy to disarm someone wielding a weapon two-handed, either. The creature is not so easily defeated, however.
