Of interest to publishers in this interview is that the game will have Open content and that some publishers may receive the rules ahead of time in order to produce d20 Modern supplements reasonably close to the game's release.

A Few Ideas for d20 Modern Products

A series of city books, detailing real world and fictional burgs for d20 modern. Would include information on the politics of each city, notables (real and imagined) places of interest, ongoing intrigues, resident bad guys, and so on and so forth.

Real world adventures. Investitgating mysteries, searching out lost cities and other places of mystery. Researching "undiscovered" animals. Adventures in archeology and paleontology. Infiltrating international conspiracies.

Technical guides. Books on firearms, vehicles, medicine, science, modern day occult.

d20 Modern versions of your own settings. A 20th century version of the Scarred Landscampaign could be interesting.

No doubt there's more that could be possible. Discuss among yourselves.

Hopefully they will liscence out the Darkmatter books. That's a really great setting. It deserves to have a supported product line. Although, it might be just as easy to use CoC rules when they come out in March. A little suprised though, that there hasn't been that much buzz about CoC, maybe someone just needs to stir it up.

TOYS!

Heh. Ah, the things I want from d20 Modern. I'd love to see the Dark*Matter series picked up but I think it's going to be covered with one of the games of the 4 being published. No, I die to see some Superhero material in d20 Modern.

BTW: Is d20 Espionage going to be using the standard d20 rules or Modern material? Kinda important, and will effect AEG's release?
