D20 Modern & Pokemon

I'm working up some basic rules for a game based on Pokemon using the series and some of the official game strategy guides. I know I saw a Pokemon Monstrous Compendium a while ago (maybe it was a year or so). But now, I'm having difficulty finding it. Can somebody please point me in the right direction (if there actually still is one)?

Never heard of such a thing, though it wouldn't surprise me if it exists...I'd actually suggest taking a look at BESM d20 if you haven't, one of the classes is Pet Monster Trainer.

Thanks. I have heard of Big Eyes Small Mouth D20, but I never really considered it, due to that fact that just about any setting can be done as anime without the need of an anime book. Anyway, I'll give it a once over.

Not that you couldn't use d20 modern. The main advantage of BESM d20 for this type of game is really that it has a Monster Trainer class built right in. You could even grab the anime SRD, and use the class as the basis for a monster trainer advanced class if you are ambitious enough.

Last I knew, the Pokemon monstrous compendium got hacked and just about all of it was lost. Shame--there was some quality stuff in there.

The game would be almost purely based on the pokemon universe.

I've used Pokemon (Feraligatr, Tentacruel and Onyx) in DnD and they worked wonderfully, a pokemon is just a summoned monster when ya think about it as per D20 mechanics, Pikachu is a shocker lizard.

FranktheDM (who post at Enworld) ran the Pokemon Monster Compendium until it got wiped, if you can find him, then may be you can hire - oops - um maybe he can help
