Looks good, but want to throw in a few other things for consideration: Positives: - Regenerative ability: the symbiote gives the Jaffa accelerated natural healing: perhaps 2x or 3x the norm? Negatives: - Limited lifespan: the symbiote eventually matures and will no longer needthe Jaffa (don't have the timeframe offhand - 5 years, I think?) - perhaps give Jaffa a -1 skill point gained/level, since they seem to be very specialized in the things they do The only thing about the "Lost Technology Use" feat is that I don't think even the Jaffa knows how to the Stargate works, etc. Perhaps the feat can be more Goul'd related: Goul'd Technology Proficiency: acts as a base requisite - allows the owner of the feat to apply their skills to the requistie technology, as well as taking Goul'd Technology related feats (for example, it would be a base requisite to: "Weapon Focus: Goul'd staff weapon") Goul'd Weapon Proficiency: perhaps a separate feat, since some might just use the weaponry, but not necessarily be proficient in the technology (ie O'Neill) This way, other "alien" technology can be applied: Earth Technology Proficiency Asgard Technology Proficiency Ancients Technology Proficiency Aliens or similar earth cultures with similar tech levels could perhaps be lumped into pre-existing technology proficiencies. Or perhaps just have them ranked as a low, medium, high, and advanced technology proficiencies in order to be more broad, with specific feats that specialize in specific alien races/cultures. Yeah, there's plenty of ways to go with this :) My Spycraft books finally came in last week and I why people are saying it'll be tough to adapt Spycraft to Stargate SG-1. Alot of it seems to be how specific the abilities alot of the classes are, and it'll take ALOT of adaption, as well as things needing to be created from scratch. The d20 system's hero-type classes would easily answer the question "How do I create Daniel Jackson with these rules?" It probably gets to the point where one might be gutting Spycraft almost in it's entirety and creating the product from scratch. Still, it's alot of interesting things to think about :)
