d20 Past Shaman

In the Shaman class, one of the abilities is Spirit Animal(?) or something similar (no book in front of me right now).

The power allows you to become a larger version of your animal companion. The flavour text makes the implication that you are merging with your animal companion, however it isn't spelled out exactly what happens.

Are you melding your spirits but forming a Spirit Animal, and your animal companion remains seperate, or are you melding yourself into your companion and you are one entity?

Any help appreciated.

I presume you are referring to the Spiritmeld ability gained at 8th level. Yes, the shaman and the companion ainal combine into a single body, with a set of combined stats determined by the rules outlined in the ability description.
