D20 Sci-fi/Alternity ideas

Sorry, got an idea for this after reading through some of the "Dream Setting" posts, where people were interested in generic d20 sci-fi, or D20 Dark*Matter/StarDrive.

Has anyone attempted to go through the Alternity rules and port some of that to D20 yet? Maybe once D20 modern comes out we should see what we can do?

I was just looking through the Alternity books last night. I've seen some conversions of the alien races, but I'd like to see some that are more recently done. The weren are my favorites of the Alternity core races.

EDIT: Yeah, it would also be cool to see a d20 Star Frontiers. Another thing I'd like to see is a d20 conversion for TSR's Buck Rogers game. It actually had a lot of interesting ideas. No Humans Allowed is a great book; I'd love to see those gennies converted to d20.

My recommendation would be to do it yourself (it's the only way it can be done right, naturally. ), either waiting for T20 (Traveller d20), d20 Modern, or even just using Call of Cthulhu d20 as a basis. And if you're shooting for a Dark Matter-specific one, then CoCd20 is the BEST choice IMHO. All you'd need to figure out is how to handle all the kinds of magic, and to convert the creatures over.
