d20 Sorcery! adventures

Just noticed the third in this series on the front page and have always quite liked Steve Jackson's Titan as a world, really enjoyed the Sorcery! books too. So I was wondering if anyone had played or read this conversion and if so what they thought of it.

If I had particular questions they would be:

How well converted are the monsters? Are they original and innovative or mechanically just like many of the other monsters you can find in other sources?

How linear is the story? Does it present each stage of the journey as a linear adventure or does it just give you the locatations and a way to link them together (to match the books) if you want to?

Are all locations in the books included?

Any answers or comments on the books much appreciated.

Sorry, I don't have anything to contribute to your question, but could you tell me what exactly you are talking about? This is not meant to be snotty, I'm just curious :)!

Oh whoops sorry!

I guess everyone might have not had a clue what I was talking about then...

The company Myriador Ltd. has made a conversion of the fighting fantasy game books (I think they're similar to 'choose your own adventure' in the states) written by Steve Jackson.

In particular there is a series of 4 such books called the 'Sorcery!' series which was an epic adventure to get a crown from an evil archmage.

I was wondering what the conversion was like and if it was any good...

Is it still confusing, I think I might not be communicating very well :\

Ah, thanks for the clarification :)! I heard good things about Fighting Fantasy stuff, so I'm looking forward to hearing some answers from the knowing ;).

Edit: I was searching around and read a few reviews, comments and posts on rpg.net and the original product website. Although the standard of the products seems to be quite good, the price is high for 32 page booklets. Some people complained about the stat conversions that made encounter levels inappropriate. One of the more general concerns was that the conversion of the modules is a lost chance, because they cannot capture the feeling of the setting. Of course, this last statement is highly subjective and probably driven by nostalgia ;).
