Well, Tonguey, the rules are not yet set for character creation s we won't begin full out playtesting for another month. I wanted to include rules for various levels because Robin is not up to snuff with Batty and Batty doesn't have the power of SUpes. The New Mutants have nothing on the X-Men and they have nothing on the Avengers. But hey, the New Green Arrow (COnner Hawk) was a weakling compared to the other JLA members I would say Urban level, and he contributed. The rules I mentioned though reflect the level of knockback etc, not necessarily Character Creation. WHen Bat-man punches someone they don't fly two million feet back Definitely not when RObin does it either. There will be only a few skills to cover weapons: FIrearms, Archery, Melee, Brawling, Thrown. I may be missing one. Powers like Optic Blasts will be treated like Energy Blast and you decide where the power generates from. This will help allow max customization. You purcase level of dice in the power. The BAB with these powers is based on a managing skill that will cover. This will work like the Knowledge and craft skills. I was thinking more along the line of D20 Hero SYstem myself. LOL. The Alien Races are examples and by no means the only way to do it. The templates are skills packages for the most part with an occasional power boost at the cost of something else. These ae extremely generic templates that we have in mind. The templates give you certain powers which results in a cheaper cost for certain things but with the bonuses you have to take the disadvantages. The idea is to model various rcaes from comic books. I have a Skrull like template in mind, a Kryptonian and an original template. Of course they won't e called those things. LOL. Jason R. Carpenter
