D20 Vehicle Rules Standarization?

Now with Judge Dredd20 coming out I count 4 DIFFERENT types of handling with vehicles and how to use them. Is anyone ever going to get together and get this set of rules organized? I hate learning multiple ways of doing the same thing and right now this space is becoming a rule nitemare with DragonStar, JD20, Spycraft, and a slew of other modern games using vehicles.


Anyway for the publishers to sit down and agree on a standard or is modern D20 going to do it for us?

Do not fret. Sooner or later, we'll be getting into the "filtering" phase of d20 Open Gaming, where publishers begin to re-use the most useful OGC out there. Sooner or later one OGC will prevail for a certain situation such as vehicle combat rules.

For now, it's best to have varieties, after all, one gamer's attraction for a good vehicle rules may be another gamer's repulsion.
