Fast Gun Members of this Prestige Class are the preverbal "Fastest Guns in the West". They have mastered the art of drawing their gun and making an accurate shot at blinding speed. In western of other frontier settings, they might be the master outlaw, the feared Martial, or the Infamous gunfighter. In a more modern setting the might be mob enforcers, or mysterious vigilante gunmen. Because of their skill, and depending on their actions they often gain a great level on infamy or fame. Regardless of profession, these gunfighters are the fastest draws alive. Requirements: Base Attack Bonus: +6 Skills: Concentration 6 ranks, Sense Motive 6 ranks Feats: Improved Initiative, Quick Draw, Weapon Focus (any Handgun) Hit Dice: d10 Action Points: 6 + one-half character level, rounded down, every time the gunslinger attains a new level in this class. Class Skills The Fastest Gun’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are: Bluff (Cha), Consentration (Con), Demolitions (Int), Drive (Dex), Escape Artist (Dex), Gamble (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Knowledge (current events, popular culture, streetwise) (Int), Move Silently (Dex), Profession (Wis), Read/Write Language (none), Ride (Dex), Sense Motive (Wis), Sleight of Hand (Dex), Speak Language (none), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), Tumble (Dex). Skill Points at Each Level: 5 + Int modifier. --------Base Class---Attack—Fort--Ref---Will--------------Defense--Reputation Level---Bonus--Bonus-Bonus-Bonus--Special----Bonus----Bonus 1st-----+0-----+0----+2----+0---Just a Blur--+1-------+1 2nd-----+1-----+0----+3----+0---Bonus Feat---+1-------+1 3rd-----+2-----+1----+3----+1---Deadly Style-+2-------+1 4th-----+3-----+1----+4----+1---Bonus Feat---+2-------+2 5th-----+3-----+1----+4----+1---The Fastest--+3-------+2 Just a Blur(Ex): A Fast Gun adds his Charisma modifier to his initiative checks, as well as his Dexterity modifier. Bonus Feat: At 2nd and 4th level, the Fast Gun gets a bonus feat. The bonus feat must be selected from the following list, and the Fast gun must meet all the prerequisites of the feat to select it. Advanced Firearms Proficiency, Burst Fire, Combat Reflexes, Dead Aim, Dodge, Double Tap, Far Shot, Focused, Lightning Reflexes, Precise Shot, Quick Reload, Shot on the Run, Skip Shot, Strafe, Weapon Focus Deadly Style(Ex): A Fast Gun of 3rd level or higher adds his Charisma modifier to his damage. The Fastest(Ex): On a successful opposed reflex check against the fastest member of the enemy party, the Fast Gun of 5th level gains a free surprise round, even though his opponents are aware of his presence. The fast gun attacks before his enemy rolls initiative, catching his opponent flat-footed. The only action the fast Gun can take in this surprise round is an attack action using a handgun that has weapon focus.
