Phwew! Its been long sleepless hours of caffine-induced typing binges, but Lands of Molokai is FINALLY halfway done! The vast majority of the rules information is completed, as well as much of the descriptive text. Pretty much all that is left is encounter tables and homeland "travel guides", basically most of the stuff that was going to be in the "Traveller's Guide". Now all that remains is the artwork (about 15% done) and alot of typing, then the obligatory editing frenzy. It has occurred to me that you folks might like to see what is going on with this project, so here's the low-down. The product will contains several ENTIRELY OGC sections, including: a more in-depth look at the Psycholus (including an OGC pic!), Revised Martial Arts system/Monk class, and some psi-centric feats (such as Defy Death and Will to Live). Not only will all of these be fully OGC (including thier flavor text), but when the book is revised for 3.5e, so will the revisions! So what is IN it to begin with? Let my grab my working file and break it down.... 47 (so far) new feats! 19 new Prestige Classes. 18 New racial "subspecies" (you gotta see it to understand the quotation marks). 16 Fully described regions for PCs to explore. 12 new spells (so far) 7 New monsters/templates. 5 New Alchemical Items. 5 New clerical domains. 4 alterations to old classes (some of which are being mimiced in 3.5, evidently) 3 new Feat categories (including one VERY desirable for you sorcerer players) 2 new skills. 2 new spellcaster types! 1 New PC class. 1 New PC race. Campaign-specific random item tables (including a new type of psionic item!) New rules for Summoning mosnters. New system for Monstrous PCs. In-depth rules on animated objects. Rules on maintaining a domain, or guild. More encounter tables than you can shake a stick at (including an insideous new way for DMs to use/abuse them...) And an entire chapter on how to make a demon-worhsiping mutated character! ANd remember, this is only HALF of what I've gotten DONE! I still have a stack of hand-written psionic powers, spells, items, ect to type up!
