Rented this the other day at local video store. Spanish flick, quite good, and quite faithful to Lovecraft's original short story, both in terms of what happens and mood/feel (which most Lovecraft flicks DON'T do).

Directed by Stuart Gordon, who also did Castle Freak, Re-Animator, H.P. Lovecraft's "From Beyond", Dolls (which STILL creeps me out to this day), and (oddly enough) "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show".

I just finished watching it on DVD, and was extremely surprised at the quality.

If you're a horror fan, it's a definite must-see.
