In my view, because this movie shows the matter so seriously, it risks feeding Chick's supporters.

I'd be curious if Chick's estate gets any money from this film.

Chick is still alive, because the guy who 'won the lottery' and started the effort (JR Ralls) asked for the rights to make the movie. He received them for nothing. I doubt that would have happened without assurances that the material would be treated seriously.

Satire does not require a nod and a wink. Sometimes it might fly over a few peoples heads, but I say let those folks think Jonathan Swift is baby eating cannibal.
