I seriously intend no snarkiness, but while I liked Clones better a bit overall, I was really unimpressed by the fight scenes. In Menace, I felt as though I had waited the entire movie for the big fight at the end, but at least the big fight at the end was cool. With Clones, my thinking ran roughly, "Okay, not great, but the big fight is at the end, okay, I'm just waiting for the big fight, and... Okay, Kenobi wasn't wonderful, but it's good setup for the duel between Anakin and... um... he's just standing there... they're doing stupid camera edits to make this look like a good swordfight, but really, they're... this is dull, man... and why would you hold your arm out to the side like that? For cryin' out loud!" And then the Yoda fight, which was fun, but not the visceral "Trying to kill each other" that I got from the Phantom Menace fight with Darth Maul -- whatever the other flaws of the movie.But mileage will vary. As I said, no snarkiness intended. It just didn't work for me that way, for whatever reason.</blockquote>
