Arneson’s style of play was what got into DnD and spread to us, but that’s just what happened, all credit to him.  But like Gagax, just the most successful of many.  All credit to them as innovators, but…if it wasn’t them, would have been someone else.  People can be important to the development of a game w/o being the singular most important.</blockquote>
