Dawnforge Question

OK, this is a question that I needed to find out the answer to before I run my Dawnforge game.

Can Disciples and Shapers turn undead? I didn't see anything in their listings to indicate that they can, but I wanted to double-check before I ruled yes or no for my game.

Wil posted something on the yahoo group saying no. He was comparing disciples to clerics, and specifically mentioned this as a difference between the classes. Here's what he wrote:

Here's how I do the math. Compared to clerics,
disciples lose:

* turn undead
* spontaneous cure spells
* domain abilities and spells

They gain:

* intercession
* innate spells
* immortal's gift

Alright; see, I'd count Immortal's Gift for less than losing Domains, since they already grant TWO abilities plus the extra spells. So then turning is the exclusive province of the Paladin? Nasty. Gotta convince my Elf Fighter to become a Holy Warrior.

Yep, and Wil (IIRC) has also clarified this on the Dawnforge Yahoo group. I like the suggestion that someone else posted that perhaps a new immortal could be the first to grant his disciples the power to turn undead.
